AU to start PG course in atmospheric studies

AU, Riken join hands to demystify human brain
SCIENTISTS OF Allahabad University's Centre for Behavioural and Cognitive Sciences (CBCS) will soon undertake in-depth studies to demystify the dynamics of the human brain and also find the reasons for the duration of judgements of the visual perceptions found varying from person to person. The new researches are being undertaken as part of a collaborative effort between the CBCS and the experts of the Riken Brain Science Institute of Japan for which the proposal has been approved recently.

IIIT-A takes one more stride

D Kumars Sure Series? levelling serious charges against the company and instructing the company's top official Dinesh Kumar Agarwal to appear at the AU Registrar's Office at 11 am on July 4 .

Career: UGC touches the right chord
THE UNIVERSITY Grants Commission has asked all universities and the colleges of the country, including the Allahabad University, to formulate their own "need-based" and "career-oriented" courses on a priority basis. The UGC has asked the institutions to prepare the syllabi for these courses on their own by involving subject experts and has also made it clear that if a varsity fails to approve the syllabi prepared by a college within a period of two months .

History museum in constituent colleges soon
TEACHING AND learning ancient history will now become much more interesting and interactive for hundreds of undergraduate students of Allahabad University's constituent colleges too.
