Main accused held in Karnal cows’ poisoning case

The Karnal police along with the special task force (STF), Ambala, have arrested a person on the charges of poisoning the cows. The police said that the accused has been identified as Vijay Singh, a resident of Patiala, and presently residing at Deha Basati in Ambala.

9 arrested for history-sheeter’s murder in Sonepat

The accused arrested for history-sheeter’s murder in Sonepat have been identified as Anuj alias Richa, Ankur, Raja Hooda and Sonu of UP, and Vipin, Aman, Sumit, Dault alias Pradeep and Ankit of Sonepat. Police produced accused before a local court in Sonepat, which sent them to four-day police remand.

Baby weighing 830 grams survives after 56-day battle, thanks to government hospital

A newborn girl, who weighed only 830 grams at the time of birth, fought for her life for 56 days and emerged victorious. She was discharged after her weight increased to 1,290 grams. The baby with extremely low birth weight (ELBW) was admitted to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the district hospital in Dholpur, which is chief minister Vasundhara Raje’s home district.
