‘Will create rating system for vehicles to ensure better safety’: Nitin Gadkari

Mumbai commuters can now track BEST buses on new app

With the addition of new buses, including six air-conditioned e-buses in the fleet, BEST will be able to launch point to point service in some parts of the city. BEST has planned to expand its fleet to 6000 in the first phase.

Yamuna Expressway bus accident: Non-functional GPS device, no record of speed

Panic button and Vehicle Tracking System now must on new buses, taxis in Mumbai

The Central government has made it mandatory for all new vehicles plying as public transport to have these facilities to ensure passenger safety.

New buses belonging to BEST and MSRTC, apart from all the types of new taxis including black and yellow taxis, tourist taxis and app-based taxis will have to install VTS and panic buttons at the time of registration.(HT File)
