Haryana to organise two-day water conclave on April 26-27

The water conclave will provide a platform for policymakers to engage with experts and stakeholders, identify challenges, and formulate policies and strategies to address water-related issues effectively, said the chief secretary. It will be inaugurated by Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar.

BJP general secy divested of charge, moved back to RSS

Ram Lal is learnt to have written to party chief Amit Shah on two occasions—in September 2017 and on July 5 this year—to divest him of the charge.

Ram Lal’s replacement will be announced in due course as a decision on his successor will be taken at the national executive council meeting of the BJP, according to RSS functionaries familiar with the matter . (ANI photo)

BJP fails to find consensus on candidates for Rajasthan assembly polls

The core committee members, including chief minister Vasundhara Raje, who had gone to Delhi, returned on Wednesday night after no consensus could be reached over the candidates. Sources said the state leadership did not agree upon the central leadership’s view which is in favour of axing 80-90 sitting MLAs including ministers.
