Maharashtra is preparing to administer Covid-19 vaccine shots to 3.25 crore people over three phases in six months, according to officials. However, it is still unclear whether it will be free or not.

The vaccination drive is going to be conducted in a systematic manner with people having to register online and they will be asked to be present at a vaccination camp on a specific date and time, the officials revealed.

Scamsters dupe Manimajra man of 10 lakh via online transactions

Unidentified accused fraudulently withdrew ₹10 lakh from the account of a Manimajra man on the pretext of updating his Paytm know your customer (KYC) details. The complainant, Vijay Kumar Kak, a resident of Modern Housing Complex (MHC), Manimajra, told the police that the received a text message on his mobile phone on December 23, 2019, informing him that his Paytm KYC had expired and his account will be blocked within 24 hours.

The fines, which also include those for both compoundable and non-compoundable offences, were received by the recently inaugurated virtual courts, where an offender can pay the fine without physically visiting the court.
