Taapsee Pannu was born in New Delhi. She studied computer science engineering from Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology. She made her film debut with 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam and Hindi film debut with Chashme Baddoor. She was noticed in Bollywood with her successful films like Pink, Thappad, Saand Ki Aankh and Mulk. For Thappad, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She has served as the brand ambassador for Nivea, Uber and Women’s Horlicks. She even runs an event management company, The Wedding Factory.
