Chandigarh MC slaps 165 challans for violation of solid waste rules

Of the total 165 violators, 43 were fined for using plastic carry bags, 68 for littering, 52 for non-segregation of waste, and one each for construction and demolition waste, and horticulture waste; challans ranging between ₹500 to ₹20,000 were imposed on different categories of defaulters

Noida: Sector 117 launches drive for Swachh Survekshan 2025

The final phase (field assessment) of this 9th edition of the cleanliness survey is being carried out from February 15 to March 31, 2025

‘Swachh Survekshan 2021’: President Kovind to award 342 cleanest cities shortly

The event to felicitate the cities, ‘Swachh Amrit Mahotsav’ is being organised by the Union ministry of housing and urban affairs (MOHUA) and would take place at Vigyan Bhawan in the national capital.

Swachh Survekshan Grameen: The Jal Shakti ministry said 17,475 villages in 698 districts of the country will be covered by the cleanliness survey. Around 87,250 public places, such as schools, Anganwadi centres, public health centres, markets, religious places will be visited for the survey.
