Pyari Behna Yojana: Sukhu releases instalment to women in Pangi valley

A total amount of ₹86.67 lakh was disbursed in three instalments. During the 78th Himachal Day celebrations held at Killar of Pangi valley, Sukhu announced that all remaining eligible women in Pangi Valley would be provided benefits under the scheme upon completion of the necessary formalities.

BJP: Himachal govt not giving satisfactory replies

Heated exchanges were witnessed in the Himachal Pradesh Assembly during the question hour on Thursday as the BJP accused the Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu-led Congress government of not giving satisfactory replies to the questions asked by them.

Leader of the Opposition, Jai Ram Thakur, joined in to accuse the government of trying to conceal the information on the pretext that “information is being collected”.
