UG students to get option to shorten, extend duration of degree courses soon

UGC Chairman Jagadesh Kumar said HEIs will soon be able to offer an option to undergraduate students to shorten or extend their study durations.

UGC Chief Jagadesh Kumar informed that under the ADP and EDP, students earn the same total credits as in the standard-duration programme. The higher education institutions will establish committees to evaluate students' eligibility for these programmes. (PTI)

DU council approves new UG curriculum framework with 176 credits

The Delhi University’s Academic Council (AC) on Wednesday passed with dissent a plan to introduce the Undergraduate Curriculum Framework 2022.

Aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP), the curriculum framework outlines 176 credits for a four-year honours degree and 132 credits for a three year degree.(File)
