Nearly 200 crocodiles relocated from lake near Statue of Unity for tourists
As many as 73 rescued crocodiles were released in the Sardar Sarovar reservoir in 2019-2020. The animals rescued from the lake were also transferred to the rescue centres at Godhra in Panchmahal district, and Gandhinagar, according to the official.

Seaplane service from Sabarmati riverfront to Statue of Unity to start from Oct 31
The 19-seater seaplane will be able to accommodate 12 passengers at the cost of Rs 4,800 per person. The aerial distance between Ahmedabad and Kevadia is around 200 kilometres. The seaplane will take about 45 minutes to cover the distance.
