Zilla parishad girls U-14 tournament: St Mary’s to face Gurukul in summit clash

Momentary disappointment came to an end as the final whistle blew a minute after the miss as St Mary’s confirmed their presence in the final of the tournament after a dominant display. Mary’s will face SES’s Gurukul School in the final.

Handwriting contest: Student gets 7th place

A student of St Mary’s High School, Dahisar, Rupali Pratap Ayanvar, bagged seventh place at the all-India handwriting competition this year. Around three lakh students from more than 200 schools participate every year in the championship. This was the ninth edition of the championship.

Suicide bomber didn’t attack a church thinking Easter mass had already ended there

A total of 29 people died in the suicide bombing in the Zion Church in the eastern town of Batticaloa, a former Tamil Tiger bastion, on Sunday. They included 14 children -- seven girls and seven boys each. Two victims remain unidentified.
