Annual speed limit drive on Noida-Greater Noida Expressway delayed

To prevent accidents during fog, the speed limit for heavy and light vehicles is reduced on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway by Noida traffic police in coordination with Noida authority

On the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, the speed limit is reduced from 100 kilometre per hour (kmph) to 75 kmph for light vehicles and from 60 kmph to 50 kmph for heavy vehicles. (HT Archive)

Speed limit reduced on Yamuna Expressway in view of winter fog 

Yeida has lowered the Yamuna Expressway speed limit to 75km/h for vehicles from Dec 15, 2024, to Feb 15, 2025, to enhance safety during fog.

Holi in Mumbai: 5,326 cases of traffic violations; 540 held for drink driving

The Mumbai Police registered 5,326 cases of traffic violations on Tuesday in a special drive to catch offenders on Holi. While 540 people were arrested for drink driving, 342 bikers were booked for having more than one pillion rider, 3,086 were caught for riding without helmets and 1,285 motorists were found violating speed limits.
