Does concept of open offices make sense in a post-pandemic world?

As the Covid-19 pandemic spread across the globe in Feb, most workplaces around the country (and the world) began to implement rules among employees to avoid clusters, maintain physical distance, wear masks, sanitise hands and avoid biometric entry.

India’s sliding rupee has an upshot: Rising software exports

The rupee’s double-digit drop against the dollar is helping India’s services exports, according to experts. So much so that the share of services exports, which mainly comprise software, has climbed to 7.3% of GDP in June from 6.8% in March 2017.

The rupee is Asia’s worst-performing major currency so far this year and that comes amid a global trade war that threatens exports. If anything, a slide in the rupee has ended up inflating India’s import bill.(Bloomberg/Picture for representation)
