Sidharth Malhotra was born in New Delhi. He began his career as a fashion model, but left it to pursue an acting career. He made his debut with Karan Johar’s Student of the Year in 2012 after his acting debut with TV serial, Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan. He made a mark in successful films, such as Kapoor and Sons, Ek Villain, Brothers,Ittefaq and Shershaah to name a few. He has won many awards like Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards for Shershaah, BIG Star Entertainment Awards for Hasee Toh Phasee and Stardust awards for Student of the year.
