DTCP notice to architects, designers of Chintels Paradiso over false certifications

Chintels Paradiso residential complex and its architects have been issued a show cause notice by the Department of Town and Country Planning over the partial collapse of Tower D in February 2022, which resulted in two fatalities. The department has alleged that occupancy certificates were obtained on false and misleading grounds. The firms have been given 15 days to respond, or face blacklisting and cancellation of their licence to practice.
