Businessman abducted in car, robbed of ₹2 lakh, valuables
A businessman was abducted at gunpoint in Delhi, assaulted, robbed of cash and valuables, and dumped in a secluded area. Police have arrested five people in connection with the case, including the mastermind, who was in need of money after suffering losses in his businesses. The victim was contacted through a social networking site for a business deal, then forcibly taken by the suspects. The assailants drove around with the victim for five hours before dumping him and withdrawing money from his account. Two pistols, two motorcycles, cash, and a stolen iPhone were recovered.
