Businessman abducted in car, robbed of 2 lakh, valuables

A businessman was abducted at gunpoint in Delhi, assaulted, robbed of cash and valuables, and dumped in a secluded area. Police have arrested five people in connection with the case, including the mastermind, who was in need of money after suffering losses in his businesses. The victim was contacted through a social networking site for a business deal, then forcibly taken by the suspects. The assailants drove around with the victim for five hours before dumping him and withdrawing money from his account. Two pistols, two motorcycles, cash, and a stolen iPhone were recovered.

Three men arrested, juvenile apprehended for series of crimes in Delhi

A 12-year-old had sustained a bullet injury in his arm when he along and his father and seven to eight labourers tried to nab the robbers who had snatched the mobile phone of the driver of a goods vehicle in Shalimar Bagh village.

12-year-old boy shot at during robbery in Delhi's Shalimar Bagh

A case of robbery and use of firearms was registered and teams were formed to identify and nab the suspects. The police are also scanning CCTV footage of cameras installed on the route that the suspects took while fleeing.

Police said that the incident took place when the two suspects tried snatching the mobile phone of a man who worked for the 12-year-old’s father, who is into the tent and catering business.
