Nearly 1 ha of mangrove land diverted for Metro 4

The state forest department in Mumbai has diverted one hectare of forest land in Sewri for the construction of the Metro 4 project connecting Wadala and Thane. The land will be used for the construction of Metro piers and a station, with a deadline of 2024 set for completion.
