‘Ganga in Prayagraj to be fit for holy dip by December-end’

Sushant Lok 1 residents hold protest against poor civic amenities

Residents of Sushant Lok 1 in Gurugram staged a protest against the civic authorities for failing to provide basic amenities, including sanitation and sewage systems. The residents blocked a road near the Huda Metro station to voice their concerns. The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority and Municipal Corporation have taken cognizance of the protests and have promised to conduct an infrastructure audit and provide funds for improvements.

Some of the STPs that were found wanting include newer facilities that have been inaugurated or made operational within the last two years, including the Coronation Pillar STP, the Kondli STP and the new Keshopur plant.
