Chandigarh MC to take over 50 taxi stands as operators fail to comply with terms

The allottees were asked to abide by the terms and conditions approved in September 2024 General House meeting of Chandigarh civic body but only two out of the total 52 completed the formalities within given time frame

Following a directive issued on December 9, 2024, the operators were given 15 days to fulfil these formalities, failing which the MC warned it would reclaim the taxi stands and their case will not be considered for allotment for the next five years. (File)
