Chennai has a winning percentage of 71% when playing at home, the highest in the IPL. Rajasthan Royals lead on the metric of the highest positive markup over their overall winning percentage. Other teams have a positive markup of 2-8 percentage points when playing at home, while two teams have a home record that trails their overall record.

CEOs see 40% revenue dip in June quarter: Poll

More than half the CEOs foresee job losses after the lockdown ends, said the poll. Businesses have largely refrained from layoffs, but the hit suffered by their revenue streams has started causing financial distresses which would deepen if they remain shut longer, making job losses inevitable, the survey warned.

Forty-five percent of CEOs expect the economy to take more than a year to revive and 36% think the recovery will take six months to a year, the CII poll found.(Bloomberg)

Indian IT firm HCL Tech to acquire select IBM software products for USD 1.8 billion

Indian IT company HCL Technologies Friday said it will acquire select IBM software products for USD 1.8 billion (over ₹12,700 crore) in an all-cash deal.

The transaction, subject to “completion of applicable regulatory reviews”, is slated to close by mid-2019, HCL Technologies said in a statement.(HCL)
