Services are running at a restricted speed of 25kmph between the affected stations due to an “attempted cable theft,” which has damaged signalling cables.

Delhi Metro’s Red Line services from Shaheed Sthal towards Dilshad Garden delayed

DMRC later tweeted to say that the services have resumed on the line. The cause of the delay is not known yet as other lines of the Delhi Metro operated normally.

New initiative: permanent cycle stands at metro stations

The facility will be extended to other Metro stations in a phased manner, DMRC officials said. By the end of this month, bicycle stands will also be available at the parking lot of Nawada, Uttam Nagar East and Vishwavidyalaya Metro stations.

The DMRC, in association with private operators, is already operating 20 bicycle-sharing service stands at 19 stations. It has identified 13 more stations where these services would be extended(Hindustan Times)
