Jammu and Kashmir govt to re-hire teachers on contract basis
The Jammu and Kashmir administration has approved rehiring of lecturers and teachers on academic arrangement for continued academic activities, an official said on Saturday.

Notification to regularise services of 13,728 teachers issued: Punjab education minister
Services of 7,356 teachers recruited under the SSA, 1,194 under the RMSA and 5,178 teachers recruited under the Pendu Sahyogi Teacher Scheme will be regularised.

5178 Punjab teachers, 850 nurses to be regularised
Of the 5,178 teachers, 5,078 were recruited in the master’s cadre and 100 as classical and vernacular teachers by the education department in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
