UP Police Constable exam: 800 aspirants given early access to question papers; mastermind arrested

UP DGP said the paper leak happened due to the negligence of the outsourced agency but refused to identify the agency involved in the printing process, saying it was against norms

CBI chargesheets 88 in 2022 HP police constable recruitment exam paper leak

In the chargesheets filed before a special CBI court in Shimla, the agency alleged that two Bihar residents, Bharat Kumar Yadav of Lakhisarai and Arvind of Nawada, stole the question papers and sold to aspirants for ₹3 to 5 lakh

The CBI has forwarded the names of these private coaching institutes to National Testing Agency (NTA) for suitable action as their role also came on record during investigation, an agency spokesperson said in a statement. (HT File)

Chaos over PAT as schools receive fewer question papers than number of students

A shortage of question papers and answer sheets has caused confusion during periodic assessment tests in government schools across the state. Principals and teachers have had to make photocopies, causing disruption. Teachers have had to spend their own money on photocopies due to mismanagement. The purpose of the test is to help struggling students, but there is no clarity on the evaluation process. The education department must investigate and punish those responsible for the chaos. Wednesday is the last day of the test.
