Police arrest wife, brother-in-law for PAC official’s murder

A quartermaster of the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) in India was shot dead on Diwali. Police officials have determined that his wife and brother-in-law carried out the murder due to his illicit relationships. The two suspects have been arrested and evidence, including a firearm and a GPS tracker, has been recovered.

Inspector-rank PAC official shot dead outside house in Lucknow

Satish Kumar (45), who was posted as quartermaster in the PAC 4th battalion in Prayagraj, was visiting his family in Lucknow on Diwali.

Jaiswal said the police received information of his murder around 2.30 am, and a team rushed him to the Lok Bandhu hospital where doctors declared him brought-dead.
