Six arrested after stone-pelting incident in Solapur city

Six individuals have been arrested for allegedly pelting stones at a procession in Solapur, Maharashtra, held after the consecration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The incident occurred in a Muslim-dominated area, and several people were injured. Police have identified 12 people involved and have registered FIRs against them. Another FIR has been filed against 22 members of the Hindavi Swarajya Pratishthan for organizing the rally without permission.

Seven-eight persons stopped a group of people on Nag-Nagin Road near a mosque at around 8.30 pm on Monday when the latter were taking out a procession.

The situation is currently peaceful and a case has been registered against the miscreants and further legal action is being taken.

Traffic diversion in old Lko on Chehellum, police on high alert

In view of Chehellum, a flag march was held in the old city area by Lucknow Police. Many senior officials were present in the flag march, including Rahul Raj, DCP (West) Ten companies of PAC and paramilitary forces, 16 additional SP rank officials, 35 ACP rank officials, 31 inspectors, 250 sub-Inspectors and nearly 900 constables have been deployed. Lucknow police will be on high alert so that anti-social elements may be checked.
