Philippines tweaks act, Indian medical students there can practice locally now

The CHED will issue the necessary certification to facilitate this process, ensuring a smooth transition for graduates.

Under the newly added amendment, Indian students who complete their Doctor of Medicine degree from a Philippine College of Medicine recognised by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED)and a 12-month internship will be eligible to register and practice medicine in the Philippines.

Sangam city artistes to perform at R-Day Parade in Delhi

The Republic Day Parade in New Delhi will feature the folk dance form of Prayagraj, called 'Dhediya', and the folk song and dance genre of Uttar Pradesh, called 'Kajri'. Two teams of artists have been practicing since December for the event. Additionally, 101 female sanitation workers from Uttar Pradesh will be special guests at the parade.
