Driverless train to begin on Delhi Metro's Pink Line from today

"Driverless Train Operations on Delhi Metro's Pink Line (Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar) will be inaugurated on 25th Nov 2021 (Thursday) at 11:30 am via video conferencing," the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said in a tweet on Wednesday.

Timing of first and last train on Delhi Metro's Pink Line to change from Monday

The Pink Line became the longest operational corridor of the Delhi Metro network after a small section of the 59-km-long corridor was inaugurated earlier this month. The section of 289 metres between Mayur Vihar Pocket 1 and Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake stations was inaugurated on August 6.

‘Blasts’ on Pink Line coach were common tech snag, clarifies DMRC

Mayur Vihar metro link to Lajpat Nagar to open on December 31

The five stations that will be opened on Monday are -- Lajpat Nagar, Vinobapuri, Ashram, Hazrat Nizamuddin, Mayur Vihar Ph-I and Mayur Vihar Pocket-1. While the first three will be underground stations the two Mayur Vihar stations will be elevated.

Metro goes for new design to connect Blue, Pink lines
