Haryana: 7,139 students get degrees at PGIMS convocation

Haryana governor Bandaru Dattatreya, who was the chief guest at the event said girls have outsmarted boys in graduation degree as their figure stood at 550 out of 792 students. He further said that 10 girls were awarded medals against nine boys.

Negligent PGIMS-Rohtak SMO repatriated to Haryana health department

Dr Sandeep, a senior medical officer at PGIMS in Rohtak, has been recommended for repatriation to the Haryana health department for negligence in uploading birth and death data on the CRS portal. An inspection revealed over 4,000 unregistered births and deaths, with 200-300 monthly registrations going unuploaded. The PGIMS director has requested that the health department issues a chargesheet against Sandeep, who has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect.

One killed, 4 injured in Panipat factory roof collapse

Police said the incident took place in Panipat on Tuesday when the victims were sitting in a vehicle on the street and a portion of the factory roof collapsed. They were taken to the hospital and Farman was declared brought dead by doctors. It is learnt that the factory belongs to local MLA Pramod Vij and it was around 45 years old.
