“The number of labourers engaged in the construction work of the temple is a matter of concern. Countdown to consecration ceremony: Misra arrives in Ayodhya, reviews prep for ceremony

“I inspected arrangements for the ‘pran patishtha’ of Ram Lalla. Preparations are in the final stages. To ensure the work is completed on time, the remaining construction work will also be held during the night,” he told reporters after reviewing the arrangements at the temple premises.

Don’t have experts to carve out Ram Lalla’s idol using rocks from Nepal: Trust

On Saturday, experts and members of the trust concluded a discussion held to finalise the rock to be used for Ram Lalla’s idol from the available options i.e. rocks from Nepal, Karnataka, and Rajasthan.

Trying to begin Ram temple darshan by December 2023: Misra

Till date, around 212 pillars have been carved at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas Karyashala (workshop) in Ayodhya. The VHP has been operating this workshop since the Ram Mandir movement began in the late 1990s. Most of these pillars from the workshop have been shifted to Ram Janmabhoomi.

Panel to oversee development of 65-acre land on Ram Janmabhoomi campus

To prepare the foundation, about 1,200 pillars will be laid at approximately 100 feet below the surface. In technical terms, this process is referred to as piling.

Govt’s optical fibre cable project BharatNet entangled in turf war

The BharatNet project has got entangled in Right of Way issues between the DoT and the ministry of road transport and highways. The roads ministry has denied permission to DoT to lay cable within highways RoW until the department pays the license fee.

BharatNet, launched in 2012, is aimed at promoting e-governance by delivering government services related to health and education , skills training and so on, to the rural poor. Until December 2017, only 100,000 gram panchayats had been connected through optic fibre cable under Phase I of the project .
