Top Hizb terrorist nabbed in Delhi

Delhi Police have arrested a Hizb-ul-Mujahideen terrorist, Javed Ahmed Mattu, who was on India's wanted list. He is an A++ category terrorist and is wanted in 11 known terror attacks in Kashmir. The police recovered a pistol, cartridges, and a stolen car from his possession. Mattu was apprehended while trying to collect arms and ammunition in Delhi-NCR.

Delhi’s Nizamuddin Basti conservation project wins two Unesco awards

The conservation efforts include the restoration of over 20 historic monuments clustered around the 14th century mausoleum of Sufi saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya. Stakeholders are also working towards the revival of local crafts and job creation.

13 students who had contact with Tablighi members in Kanpur test positive

They had been quarantined and isolated at the madrassa and now are being admitted to COVID-19 isolation wards at government hospitals, the CMO added.  Contact-tracing of all patients testing positive was underway.

Covid-19: 5 trains, thousands of passengers under scanner over travelling with Tablighi Jamaat participants

Sources say that each train carried around 1000-1200 passengers and other staff members which could put them all at the risk of contracting the coronavirus.

The contact tracing of these individuals is proving to be herculean for both authorities as they moved around freely at that time as it was before any restrictions were imposed.(AP)
