Delhi records 3,367 suicide cases in 2022: NCRB data

The number of suicide cases reported in the national capital in 2021 was at 2,760. In 2020, it had registered 3,025 suicide cases.

Data from the NCRB said Karnataka came second to Tamil Nadu in registering most deaths due to over-speeding and accounted for the third largest number of cybercrimes in the country in 2021.

West Bengal reports highest domestic violence cases by husband, in-laws : NCRB

In 2021, over 45K women died by suicide in India, 23,000 of them are housewives

The report found that Tamil Nadu (3,221) accounted for the most number of suicides among housewives, followed by Madhya Pradesh (3,055), and Maharashtra (2,861).

In 2021, Delhi recorded 13,892 cases of crimes against women in 2021 as compared to 2020 when the figure was 9,782, according to the data.
