Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam caught in plagiarism row, Sukumar says it is his own work

Writer M Gandhi wrote to the Telugu Film Writers Association, stating that the Ram Charan starrer Rangasthalam is copied from his book, Ukkupaadam. Sukumar says he was inspired by Rajinikanth’s Dharma Yuddham.

In Rangasthalam, Ram Charan plays a character called Chitti Babu who is a partially deaf, light-hearted and jolly villager.
