Mumbai’s Jinnah House to be MEA property, to host top-level meets, banquets
External affairs minister Sushma Swaraj said her ministry is in the process of acquiring Jinnah House, originally owned by the founder of Pakistan, Mohammad Ali Jinnah. Swaraj said Jinnah House would be converted into a venue along the lines of Hyderabad House in New Delhi.

External affairs ministry getting Jinnah House in Mumbai transferred in its name: Sushma Swaraj
In a letter to Mumbai BJP legislator Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Sushma Swaraj said that her ministry will refurbish the bungalow on the lines of Hyderabad House in Delhi. Lodha had written to Swaraj on October 5 requesting that Jinnah House should be made a cultural centre.
