Govt to explore pvt partnership to raise learning standards

The BMC has a ‘public private partnership programme’ for its schools. If the municipal corporation extends the programme to more schools it will be a revival for an idea that has implemented half-heartedly, if not apologetically.

No building since 2008, students of this Anganwadi school study in hut

As per locals, land was provided to the anganwadi at Model School in the region in 2008-09, however, no building has been constructed on it since then. It becomes difficult for children to study when it rains.

Himachal Pradesh to get 68 model schools, 10 to start in 2018

To improve the quality of education in the state’s government schools, Adarsh Vidyalayas will be built in Himachal Pradesh’s 68 assembly constituencies, Education Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said on June 4.
