Imagine being able to travel in Bengaluru's Namma Metro without a token or a smartcard. You can do so starting October as the BMRCL is introducing QR-based tickets that can be bought through the Namma Metro app.

Hyderabad metro's unlimited travel holiday card spreads festive cheer on Ugadi

Hyderabad's first Super Saver Metro Holiday Cards would be available for sale from Ugadi (April 2) onwards. The card offers to provide unlimited metro travel across 57 metros stations and three corridors on 100 applicable holidays during the year.

Foreign tourists can now recharge metro cards through Delhi Tourism App

Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) officials said that Delhi Tourism App will also be useful for foreign tourists and for those who are not well versed with the online modes of Delhi metro recharge options or fare and route details.

Common mobility card kicks off in Delhi, but few takers on Day One

The Delhi government, on Friday, started the e-payment of bus fares using Metro cards in all its 5,500 buses. To use this service, passengers have to hand over their Metro smart card to bus conductor who would then flash the card on the screen of the ETMs to deduct the fare.

From August 24, swipe your Metro card to pay for all bus rides in Delhi

To use the facility, a passenger will have to furnish her metro smart card to the bus conductor and the fare will be automatically deducted after the card is swiped.
