Two charred after car crashes into road divider in Matunga
Two brothers were killed and three others injured after a speeding car caught fire on Sion-Trombay road in Mumbai. The occupants were drinking throughout the night before the accident occurred in the early morning. The police suspect that the car was travelling at over 100 kmph and the CNG tank may have leaked, causing the fire. CR workers unearth 100-year-old tracks between Vidyavihar, Kurla

The Central Railway in Mumbai is planning to set up vertical gardens at 15 railway stations on its main and harbour lines as part of its Amrit Bharat Station scheme. The gardens will be located in and around concourse areas and will be used to improve the aesthetics of the stations and increase the green quotient. The gardens will cost around INR14.72 crore ($2.2m) and will be developed within a year of the contract being awarded.
