Ghaziabad civic body approves proposal to change property tax calculation

The corporation at present determines the tax on the basis of location of a property on the basis of road width and its corresponding annual rental values

CM: Reserve green areas in Master Plan of all cities

The chief minister reviewed the Master Plan 2031 for Gorakhpur, Azamgarh, Meerut, Aligarh and Mathura-Vrindavan districts in a high level meeting held at his official residence . “Clusters should be developed in cities to encourage local crafts and traditional products,” he said.

New Noida: Authority to buy land directly from farmers

The Noida authority plans to buy land directly from farmers to develop the "New Noida" town in five phases, projected to have a population of 600,000 by 2041. The master plan for the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment region will include industries, residential areas, recreational green spaces, and institutional and mixed-land use. The town will have world-class connectivity and the first phase is set to begin by the end of 2024. The Noida authority plans to purchase approximately 21,000 hectares of agricultural land from neighbouring villages.

Delhi’s plan for 2041 to revive old colonies

DDA vice-chairman Anurag Jain said, “The regeneration policy will be one of the key focus areas on the new Master Plan. It is an important aspect, as large parts of the city were developed a long time back.”
