Goa Congress alleges corruption in beach cleaning tender; minister says process transparent

Congress legislator Reginaldo Lourenço, who had earlier raised the matter in the Goa assembly, alleged large scale corruption in the deal.

In December 2017, the government sanctioned an amount of ₹23.55 lakh to Rahul Prabhudesai, a mountaineer attempting to scale Mount Everest in the 2018 spring-summer mountaineering season.
