Haryana RERA tribunal orders removal of Old Rao Dhaba

In a January 27 order, justice (retd) Rajan Gupta, chairman of the RERA tribunal, directed enforcement wing of district town planning (DTP) department, Gurugram, to clear the unauthorised structure, restoring the land to its original state

Drunk man kills wife after argument in Manesar

The incident occurred on Friday night in Khoh village when the accused returned home in an inebriated state and an argument broke out between him and his wife, police said. The accused doubted the character of his wife, they said.

NCRTC seeks land to set up concrete plant for RRTS line

The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has requested 1.81 hectares of land near the Delhi Gurugram Expressway to set up a concrete batching and mixing plant for the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) project. The plant will be used for casting girders and tunnel segments. The proposed land requisition is currently under consideration. The RRTS corridor will be constructed in three phases, with the first phase connecting Delhi to Shahjahanpur-Neemrana-Behror. The project is awaiting approval from the central government.

Drunk man shoots friend inside car in Manesar

A man in Gurugram was shot in the ear by his friend following an altercation, allegedly because the victim had disturbed the suspect's sleep by waking him up early. The victim, Vishnu Singh, sustained a bullet injury in his left ear and developed hearing problems. His friend, Naveen Kumar, pulled out a country-made pistol hidden beneath the car seat and opened fire. Both Kumar and another friend, Vishal Nath, were arrested and booked under Section 34 and 307 of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act.
