Delhi: Man, 27, arrested for raping 14-year-old niece

The Delhi Police have arrested a 27-year-old man from the Kalindi Kunj area for allegedly raping his 14-year-old niece, officers aware of the matter said on Friday

Diversion created as entry of goods vehicles banned on Greater Noida e-way

The plan has been implemented on trial basis for the next 15 days in order to check its feasibility in reducing traffic congestion on the expressway

Delhi govt asks CPWD to explain violation of tree transplantation norms

A Delhi government spokesperson said the department held a meeting on the matter on Thursday. “A show-cause notice has been issued to the CPWD following reports of violation. Necessary action will be taken under the DPTA, in case violations are found,” the spokesperson said.

The official said a change in a site cannot be done without following due procedure and amounts to a violation of the DPTA, under which the permission was granted.(HT File)

The driver was identified as Vimal Tiwari (30), a native of Ballia. His body had been found on Saturday morning on the Yamuna bridge, just within the Noida border.

Services on DMRC’s Magenta Line remain suspended for over 4 hours in Delhi

The Metro said that services were not available between Jasola Vihar Shaheen Bagh and Kalindi Kunj stations and to ferry the stranded passengers, the DMRC roped in feeder buses.
