SpaDeX mission: Satellites close in to 3m in trial, call on final docking soon

ISRO said in a post on X that the two satellites sent for SpaDeX mission - SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target) - were just 3 metres apart in trial attempt.

SpaceX to launch India’s GSAT-20 satellite in major deal with ISRO

The GSAT-20 satellite, weighing 4,700 kg, is too heavy for India’s own rockets to carry, so SpaceX was chosen for the launch.

Isro develops three types of ventilators to battle Covid-19

A low-cost and portable critical care ventilator, 'Prana' ("Programmable Respiratory Assistance for the Needy Aid') is based on the automated compression of an Ambu (Artificial Manual Breathing Unit) bag.

ISRO to launch Amazonia-1 along with 18 other satellites today

After this, the ISRO will gear up to launch its geo imaging satellite GISAT-1, which will facilitate near real-time observation of the Indian sub-continent, under cloud-free condition, at frequent intervals.

The launch will take place at 10.24 am from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.(Twitter/@isro)
