Mystery shrouds Atiq’s Pak connections
Mafiosi brothers Atiq Ahmad and Khalid Azeem aka Ashraf, who had connections with Pakistan-based arms dealers, were shot dead before revealing the location of their hidden firearms, ammunition and crude bombs. The brothers had claimed to have relations with Pakistani secret service agency ISI and terrorist organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba. Police officials said investigations are still ongoing and they hope to gain more clues from the arrest of Guddu Muslim.

Power supply restored in Afghanistan after ISIL bomb blast damaged main line
The explosion occurred in a region located on the northern outskirts of Afghanistan’s capital Kabul, and targeted the power pylon, thereby cutting the main line and plunging the city in complete darkness.
