Man pleads guilty to killing two homeless, faces 40 years to life in prison

Cristobal Omar Perez, 32, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder for a shooting that killed two homeless individuals and injured three.

A district court held a 22-year-old man guilty of hitting an on-duty Chandigarh Police assistant sub-inspector with his car and grievously injuring him. The quantum of sentence will be pronounced on February 3.
