Protesters block Jalandhar-Pathankot NH for 3 hours against bio-CNG plant

Protesters, led by Congress MLA from Adampur, Sukhwinder Singh Kotli, demanded that the district administration should immediately stop operations at the plant. Kotli added that the Punjab and Haryana high court (HC) will be hearing a public interest litigation (PIL) against the plant on Thursday.

7 rocket shells found from garbage dump in Patiala

After getting the information, Patiala police rushed to the spot and recovered the rocket shells with the help of bomb disposal squad. A passerby spotted the rocket shells and informed the police.

Severed human skull found at Tollygunge garbage dump in Kolkata

According to authorities, a severed human head—possibly that of a woman—was found at a waste dump in the Tollygunge neighbourhood of Kolkata on Friday morning.

According to police, the severed head has been transferred to MR Bangur Hospital for additional testing.(AP)
