Complete Ganga e-way by Dec this year: CM Yogi

During a high-level meeting on Thursday, the chief minister reviewed the progress of the current and proposed expressway projects, industrial corridors and the defence corridor. He underscored the importance of completing the Ganga Expressway, which connects Meerut to Prayagraj, by December. This will facilitate travel for devotees attending the 2025 Prayagraj Kumbh.

U.P. Budget 2024-25: Ganga Expressway gets 2057 crore; 500 crore for link expressways

The Ganga expressway will connect Meerut, Hapur, Bulandshahr, Amroha, Sambhal, Budaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Unnao, Rae Bareli, Pratapgarh and Prayagraj.

No mafia can spread terror in UP now: CM Yogi

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has claimed that every district in the state is now safe and has its own identity, while announcing that the state has become an attractive destination for setting up enterprises. Speaking at a programme to sign a memorandum of understanding for setting up textile parks, Adityanath said the government was capable of safeguarding investors' interests and capital. He also criticised previous governments for poor law and order, and said no riots have been reported in the state since 2017. The PM Mitra scheme aims to establish UP as a textile hub.

Gorakhpur region to get 3rd expressway, will benefit 20 districts in state

The final router of the proposed Gorakhpur-Shamli expressway will be known only after the DPR is finalised. But Livehindustan reported that it will pass through 20 districts, including Sant Kabirnagar, Basti and Siddharth Nagar.
