2 arrested with firearms in Fazilka

A spokesperson of the Fazilka unit of the (SSOC) mentioned that cops were on patrol duty when the BSF shared an intelligence input regarding the accused on a bike near Seed Farm in Abohar, Fazilka. The input suggested that the accused were planning to commit some crime, the police said.

BSF recovers 1-kg heroin and 500-gram ICE from farmland in Fazilka

CI team conducted joint search operation with 160 Battalion of BSF in the area of village Dhani Natha Singh under police station Sadar Jalalabad, in Fazilka during which, one kg heroin and 500 gram ICE drug was recovered from the agriculture land of farmer Joginder Singh of village Dhani Natha Singh.

Among the transferred 10,497 personnel, 794 have been transferred out of districts and 87 out of range. Those transferred out of range and districts are facing serious charges or their professional conduct has been under cloud, a senior police official said.
