73% seats reserved for poor students in Delhi’s private schools filled, shows data

According to the Right to Education Act, 2009, private schools, excluding minority institutions, should reserve 25% seats for students belonging to EWS/DG groups in all entry level classes (nursery, kindergarten, and class 1) and provide free and compulsory elementary education to them.

Lok Sabha elections 2019: At phase value, looks like good news for the saffron combine in Maharashtra

After voting for the fourth and last phase in the state was held for 17 constituencies on Monday, the overall state turnout was recorded at 60.68 % (provisional), up from the 60.32% in 2014. The turnout recorded in the fourth phase is 57% (provisional), against 55.59% in 2014.

The students had got less than perfect marks in English, and they said it’s not their fault but of the evaluation. So, they held a protest at the CBSE office.
