DTCP asks Chintels flat owners to get evaluation done within a week

Owners of flats in towers E and F of Chintels Paradiso condominium in Sector 109, India, have been given two weeks to evaluate their interiors. Of the 116 flat owners, 96 have already had their flats evaluated and the evaluating firms have been asked to submit their report within two weeks. The buildings have been declared unsafe for habitation and the district administration has recommended they be demolished. Chintels India has offered to buy back flats at a basic rate of INR6,500 ($87) per sq ft or to reconstruct them at a cost of INR1,000 per sq ft.

From next year, exams of FY and SY students to be conducted at college level: SPPU

Savitribai Phule Pune University has decided that from next academic year, non-management traditional course exams for first- and second-year students will be conducted at the college level, reducing the burden on the university's examination and evaluation department. The university will prepare the question papers, but individual colleges will be responsible for planning and executing exams and declaring results. The move is aimed at reducing the burden on the department and affiliated colleges and comes as the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted the academic calendar, which is already running five months late.

UP Board HS, Inter exams: Evaluation of answer sheets ends day ahead of schedule

The evaluation of 3.19 crore answer sheets for High School and Intermediate Exams-2023 conducted by the UP Board in India has been completed ahead of schedule. Over 1,43,933 examiners were appointed to evaluate the papers at 258 centres across the state, with a focus on fair and timely evaluation through measures such as deploying static magistrates and armed police guards, and imposing Section-144 in a 100-metre radius around the evaluation centres.
