NEP 2020: Taking 4-year UG course is optional, says minister

Students in Pune will have the option to choose between three or four-year undergraduate courses for traditional subjects from next academic year, as per the New Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The four-year course will be optional and include practical subjects to enhance career opportunities. The NEP will be implemented in June 2024.
