Wheat procurement : Haryana to set up round-the-clock nakas in border districts

Punjab rolls out vehicle tracking system for wheat transportation

The Punjab food and civil supplies department has implemented the vehicle tracking system (VTS) during the ongoing wheat procurement by installing Global Positioning System (GPS) in 26,250 vehicles used in transportation of wheat from the mandis to storage points or the railheads from where the freshly harvested produce is sent to consumer states.

Himachal assembly passes groundwater amendment Bill

Now, offenders will be imposed a fine of ₹10 lakh for each violation. The Bill was introduced in the assembly on Wednesday by deputy chief minister Mukesh Agnihotri.
